Dome is located inside the One Utama Shopping complex. It is a nice place to go for lunch, tea or dinner especially if you are having shopping as part of your agenda. The food is nice and reasonable in price. If you ask me if I would go back again, the answer is a definately a big "YES".

1 Chicken Penne
We also ordered 5 glasses of water which was complementary.

How much?

Lamb Stew with Cashew Nuts @ RM23.00
Chicken Penne @ RM21.50

The whole meal inclusive of service charge and government tax cost us RM127.65 .

Chicken Penne
This dish is served with chicken meat, mushrooms, snow peas and pennes.
The sauce is rich with the taste alike to Carbonara and was appetizing to the mouth.
The pasta was cooked to perfection, it wasn't too soft yet it was tangy.
The serving was slightly small, however it was filling to the stomach.

Club Sandwich
The Club Sandwich has sliced chicken meat marinated with pesto sauce, chicken ham, lettuce and tomatoes sandwiched in between.
It was really delicious, thanks to the chicken meat! After marinated with pesto sauce, it really tastes great and was very tantalizing to the mouth

Fish & Chips
For the first time, I actually loved salad a lot. Their salad is one of a kind, it isn't more to the sweet tooth but the sour tooth and I definitely give it two thumb-ups!
As for the fish fillet, it was great also! They did a great job with the batter, the fish was crusty and crispy. The fish meat was also very fresh and it has a very soft texture!
I would say this plate of Fish & Chips is near to perfection.

Spicy Olio-Chicken with Linguini
The Linguini was served along with chicken ham and many variety of vegetables. the chilly flakes makes it spicy and this is a no no dish for those who cannot stomach spicy food. Overall the dish is okay.

Lamb Stew with Cashew Nuts
The meat is tender and soft. The sauce on the lamb goes very well with the rice. With the steamed broccoli it maked it a perfect dish.

Comments:
The food is nice and reasonable in price. The service was also good. Dome Cafe is recommendable for those who are looking for light meals.

Piccadilly

Piccadilly is a restaurant situated at Millennium Square, Section 14. Piccadilly offers a wide variety of food, from Oriental, to North Indian, Western and Japanese Cuisine, they have it all. The quality of the food is good, the serving is just nice, and the prices are reasonable. The only disappointment is that customers smoke inside the restaurant which gave us an uncomfortable feeling.

The Teriyaki Chicken Bento comes with a bowl of soup and a plate of sliced watermelon.
It is also served along with tofu and pickled vegetables.
The tofu was really excellent. It was really soft and it literally 'melts' in your mouth.

A plate of slice watermelon

Chicken Katsu Bento

BBQ Chicken Chop
The chicken chop comes with coleslaw and fries.
The fries here are compatible with the one you get in McDonalds!
The chicken was tender and goes well with the BBQ sauce.

Grilled Fish Fillet
The fish fillet comes with some salad and fries.
The fish was soft and the lemon sauce was nice.
However, it wasn't as nice as what I've expected.
Nevertheless, it was a great dish

Comments:
This is a place where we could basically find all variety of food (close to 100 types ) under one roof. The food is reasonably priced. The only setback is that they allow smokers to puff inside the air conditional area which is really unacceptable. Nevertheless, it is a great place to go for either lunch or dinner.

Charcoal Fried Hokkien Mee

We have visited this eatery joint few years ago, since then we have stopped eating at that place even though we like the food there. We are just unwilling to waste a lot of time waiting for the food as it is always crowded. We have decided to revisit the place again to taste the food last Saturday. Their famous charcoal fried Hokkien Mee did not disappoint us, however we need to wait for almost 45minutes before we are served with the food even though there are not many customers in the shop. The coffee shop is a bit run-down. The serving is a bit small. However, the quality of the food served still remained over the years. We do not recommend this place for impatient food lovers looking for good food in a nice environment and expecting good service.

In the same restaurant, there is a stall selling Chinese Ramen Noodles, Chinese Dumplings etc.

We ordered a bowl of Ramen Noodles.
The noodles is very smooth and starchy. The noodles is served with stewed pork, lettuce, tomatoes and spring onions.
The soup is clear and simple, not overdoned. It goes perfect with the noodles.

Comments:
1. The Charcoal Fried Hokkien Mee and "wah tan hor"
What makes these food different from others is that it is fried using charcoal, instead of natural gas which made it taste better and gave the 'ummph' factor. However, the size of the serving was a disappointment.

2. Chinese Ramen Noodle
It was plain and simple, but it definitely tastes good and unique.

The restaurant's name explained it all- 'Mum Recipe'. Hence, the food here are like the home cooked food we usually eat at home. Those who misses home and wants to eat home cooked food, I would suggest you to visit this place.
However, the serving is slightly small.
We will rate the food in the restaurant as very "ordinary" and nothing special. If you just want to have a simple and ordinary home cooked food, then it might be a place to go.
